All joking aside, knowing that the Irish government views violence through the prism of intersectionality reminds me a bit of how, during the pandemic, public health authorities similarly viewed the danger of COVID through the prism of identity politics. Schools were closed, Church gatherings and weddings were prohibited, because the virus was too dangerous to the vulnerable. But mass gatherings to protest systemic racism were acceptable in spite of that danger, because in the hierarchy of sacred identities, valorizing black lives mattered more than anything else.
Somehow I doubt the schizophrenics harassing people on public transportation are consuming many manosphere podcasts
