Hey Helen there’s definitely a connection, people in part (presumably some of them) motivated to seek status through adopting a minority identity… though they’re also different in interesting ways- Rachel Dolezal actually claimed she had black ancestry; she wasn’t (at least not initially) a white person who identified as black. I guess the difference in part is what identities can simply be adopted based on your own say so. It appears “woman” is one of them. Funny, that
Yup. And it’s actually in law. The language of “born in the wrong body” though means some men claim to have been born women, as if something other than the body itself exists. This is why transgenderism is an ideology.
