Supporting social democracy does not make one a Stalinist.

True, but the track record of socialism of any kind is horrific. I've seen too many victims of failed socialist experiments, from Albania to Venezuela, to, believe that it can be salvaged at all. Too much power in government corrupts completely. The Scandinavian democracies often mentioned aren't socialist; they're balanced capitalism which works as long as the balance between labor and capital does and there is high social trust. Oligarchic capitalism is also a shit show, I agree, but we need better solutions than socialism.

You labeled my attitudes as Socialist and I continued to use your language, then you started arguing against Socialism and started talking about Stalin, who was a grossly patriarchal tyrant. I advocate social democracy, which is what those Scandinavian countries use. Every definition we use to describe government - capitalist, socialist, communist, fascist - describes corrupt structures of government. Maybe there will always be corruption because humans are socialized to be corrupt and to accept corruption in our leaders, but that's not an excuse to leave things as they are. We can try something different. With modern technology & communications new structures can be formed. Every form of government as we define them has failed, including capitalism. The Scandinavian countries are using a hybrid structure that is more adaptive and more centered on the benefit of their people. They're not perfect by any means, but they're better because they do incorporate feminist values. What we have always done has brought us to an existential crisis for our species. We need to try something different.

They are not arguing in good faith, Morgaine. Leave them to stew in their misogynist bile.
