Bliadhna Mhath Ùr Conor and Ireland.

Dark days for women and indeed everyone of sound mind. Speaking from Scotland we're going through the same sh*te. I've family in both countries and speak to many people about this. Haven't met one yet that agrees with any of it. Masochistic nonsense 🙄

Cut the funding to all of them, for that's what this is about. Follow the money, and btw politicians of all colours are suspect. Disgusting.

"Activists on this topic believe that biological sex is an illusion".....credits these 'activists' with more substance than they have. To 'believe' something so patently absurd requires a level of cognitive dissonance that renders the 'activist' as merely a person with a psychotic personality disorder. And whilst on the subject of 'activism', it is high time that Western society DE-SANCTIFIES the concept of activism....and 'protest' too. Activists and protestors in places like Iran and Afghanistan are brave, noble serious people. But in the rich ultra-liberal West they are just narcissistic permanent-malcontents.

And the Western Academia/Media Industrial Complex has afforded them WAY TOO MUCH political power. But on the subject of its anti-male, anti-female, 'non-binary' nonsense, "I think I have detected a positive trend Yes....recently (in a certain kind of feminist journalism) I keep coming across warm-hearted acknowledgements that Masculinity and Femininity are complementary polarities in any sane conception of The Good Life.": https://grahamcunningham.substack.com/p/shall-we-dance

The Irish Regime are up to their usual deceptions to undermine the protections of our Republic Constitution. There are 2 Referendum.

One on the place of women in the Home, which fits in with the Trans Cult , opposition to feminists and females.

The other is to re-designate Marriage as any 'Durable Realtionship', Male or Female partners.

The term 'durable relationship' is legalese intended to subvert the Constitution and can be interpreted in many ways to increase Mass Migration by any migrant claiming Family Reunification status.

The average faily re-unification numbers average 20, with the highest being 70 to date.

No Irish Refernedum to date has ever had the interests of the Irish People at its core and has subverted the Constitutional protections insidiously by obfuscating legalese.

Some very good points Conor.

The desire to look modern and cosmopolitan does derive in the first instance from the Irish voting public (primed and egged on by the media) and is then enacted by the government of the day and is exploited opportunisticially by the relevant NGOs.

Consider how necessary having a political monoculture is to making that system work. It puts the NGOs in the role of advisors on something all right thinking and politically relevant people agree on. If there was a debate about any of these issues, heaven forbid, then the NGOs would be merely one voice among many.

Happily we are starting to see that homgeneity begining to get sullied.

One thing you haven't touched on is why these referenda have taken so long to be brought to the people. Even a few months ago the possibility of holding them was being written off.

I think electioneering is a major reason for why we're having these votes now.

They're useful in two ways

1. Raising liberal profiles before the real elections this year.

Ivana Bacik will need her own cot inside in RTE until the referenda campaigns are over. Simon Harris will get to do his remarkable impression of a popular man for the next two months

2. I think government parties want to make this referendum campaign a culture war. Rally the troops, inject the last bit of life in to the old zombified liberal crusade, head in to the election as the ones keeping the barbarians outside the gates.

Genuinely, my friend, what in the world are you talking about? Trans people would not medically transition if we believed biological sex wasn't real, nor would we socially transition if we believed men and women don't exist.
